DESCRIPTION: Vintage Kachina design brooch / pendant by RAY TRACEY (Navajo, b. 1953) & KNIFEWING SEGURA (Chiricahua Apache). Cast sterling silver with inlays of lapis, turquoise and spiny oyster. Hinged pin and safety catch. Hand made. All original. Markings: stamped "Sterling" along with makers' mark. Late 20th century I believe. CONDITION: Excellent original condition. No damage and no significant wear. No restorations / repairs. No dings, dents, bends, breaks, splits, cracks, scuffs. No significant rubs or scratches. No losses. Clean as found. Old patina as found with some typical age-related oxidation. The hinged pin and catch are functional as designed with no issues. On close inspection you may detect some light typical use-related wear: scattered fine superficial scratches and rubs. Nothing at all significant or conspicuous.
