Description: Join me within the box of time. Travel back 40 years to the tail end of the cold war. I joined the all volunteer US Army, right out of high school. I also purchased my first camera and began collecting the light of other days. The Iranian Revolution kicked off while I was in basic training and provided the back drop for my limited military service. I have knocked the dust off a collection of degraded color negatives to piece together a few people and places from my past. I explore the concepts of volunteer service, 1980’s photography and photography as my creative outlet. Come; spend a few minutes with me, dwelling in the time of rotary phones, film photography and a cold war. Rats and Ravens 2 is 36 full color pages.
