Published by: Jonathan Cape - 1951 - First Edition - 1st Printing English Text Condition Dust Jacket: G+/VG-Pretty nice condition overall, light to moderate signs of marking/creasing/toning/chipping/closed tears etc. from storage/handling wear, tear on top of cover is approx. 1", a very few spots of foxing, corners cropped but not price-clipped. Currently housed in a protective mylar sleeve (photo 5). Book: VG+Great vintage condition overall, light signs of storage/handling wear to boards/text block. One corner slightly bumped. Vintage 'Foyles' of London book sticker on inside front board. Some very light foxing on the first few and last few endpapers/pages/text-block. Internally pages are clean and crisp with no extraneous pen/pencil marks and binding is firm.
