Description: RARE and Gorgeous Vintage Swissco Musical Powder Box with Revolving Ballerina in Original Box. 1900 to 1930's. I have not seen another Swissco Musical Powder Box like this one. This one has a full size ballerina doll figurine in a beautiful victorian dress with lace and flowers on her dress and hat, and she stands on a base which serves as a lid to the musical powder box. When you lift her off of the base, the power box is revealed. Would make a great ring and jewelry holder. When you tilt the ballerina back, her eyes close. Her head tilts up and down. There is a switch to turn the music box on and off on the side of the base. To wind you remove the ballerina and hold the very bottom of the base and turn the base. It plays the classic "Go to Sleep Little Baby" Lullaby. Box states, "Musical Powder Box with Revolving Ballerina Swissco." #407 stamped on bottom of Box. A small tag on bottom of box states, "Viennese Woods." Excellent condition. Doll is in fantastic conditon. Very Clean. Music box base has minor age related discoloration in a couple of spots. Box is intact, but not in the greatest condition. Cellaphane viewing window in box look to have been repaired. See pictures. Ask questions before buying. Price is based on rarity and conditon.
