Description: In perfect mint condition, this rare and hard-to-find #1876 mustard colored medium-sized mixing bowl was never used except for being displayed on the shelf. There are no utensil marks/scratches, no chips, no cracks. This is the medium size nesting bowl of a set of three. Made by hand in Vermont, these tavern ware-style bowls were available separately when originally made and sold. I believe this line was from the 1990's and has long since been discontinued. I have seen the smaller and larger bowl selling on eBay, but not this size in this color. This bowl lends itself to the MCM style as well as the primitive -style, and the matte glaze feels like butter in your hands. It measures approximately 5.5"Hx6.75"W (at top) and has a 6 cup capacity. This is a family possession offered as a decorative object. No expert knowledge proposed. Please do any research or ask seller any questions prior to purchasing, since it is not returnable.
