Description: Rare example of scientific lab stop clock. Clock was made by renowned meker of scientific instruments "Griffin & Tatlock Ltd" in around 1930s. Clock is in working order with lovely patina. Small hole to top: possibly missing a rod to zero the main dial or it just missig handle. I'm slightly confused about the swivelling small arm on the front. It wouldn't make sense for the arm to be used as an attachment for a glass cover, it would simple slide off left or right. Perhaps it was used to tilt the clock while experiments ware conducted. Base is 20cm by 10cm, 19.5cm high, large dial is approx 12.5cm in diameter. "In used condition, showing light wear and tear and oxidized marks to the dials, light staining to white background in each corner" we care about our little planet and use recycled boxes Thank You
