Rare Vintage Helbros Military Rotating Bezel Pilots Mens Watch 17J 1930s

Description: THIS WILL SHIP TO USA ADDRESSES ONLY. This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1940. This is handsome, clean, and in good condition. This has a rotating bezel and was used by pilots, probably military pilots I believe. The case has not been polished or restored and has patina as shown. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is plated nickel and it is about 37mm wide not including the crown. It is about 42mm long to the tips of the trench type lugs. The movement is a high quality Swiss Helbros manual winder it has 17 jewels. The band is a vintage 1 piece nylon strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 inches. This uses a 16 mm one piece band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is mineral glass and has chips and scratches appropriate to it's age. The radium lume dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. The dial appears to be all original. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
