Kaiser W. Germany. The movement was used in mantel clocks by many manufacturers i.e. Hamilton, Bulova, Wittinauer etc. Kaiser went out of business in 1973 due to Japanese competition. The many clocks of this design still working after 50 years would indicate a superior product.
