Rare Vintage Eden Toys Inc NY Clown Plush 1960s 32 Inch

Description: This vintage clown plush from Eden Toys Inc. NY is a charming addition to any toy collection. The large size of 32 inches makes it somewhat rare. This was my own personal toy as a child and was purchased for me as a gift in the late 1960s. I do not know where it was purchased or the price paid. Condition is good with some wear from play. Felt cap tassel has metal in it for stability and has pulled slightly away in the front. Some light soiling on the back of the head, but very faint. Felt hands are slightly more eggshell in color. One pom on the front has a spot, and some stitching on the collar is frayed as shown. Pom nose has been pulled slightly as shown. No rips or tears to the body and overall in good condition. Gingham outfit in good condition and snaps securely. Tag back reads, "All new material, polyurethane foam stuffing." I have not seen another example like this. The body is sewn to the legs and bends so the clown can sit. The size brand and age, makes it a unique and collectible item for any toy or vintage enthusiast.
