You can measure in both Pounds and Grams as indicated on the scale's window. The bottom reads "Made in France" and "Not legal for trade". This can be used with the top tray covering the top, without the tray or the tray in the upward direction for measuring. This item measures 6-1/8" tall x 7" wide x 4-3/4" deep. the left facing side has an adjustment wheel to get the scale to zero for measuring with containers.
