Description: RARE VINTAGE 1960's BANDAI B/O VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE w/ CAMPER TRAILER SET, made in Japan in excellent working condition as shown in THE BIG BOOK OF TIN TOY CARS page 225. This was available as a box set only, the Volkswagen's rear bumper has a special built in tow hitch for attaching the camper trailer, unlike the other Volkswagen's models, only missing the blue metal table and two red chairs which came with this set. Car takes 2 'C' batteries, when turned on, engine makes a clicking sound and red light goes on with fan blade turning, also has a forward and reverse action. Please review all images for actual condition of Volkswagen and Camper trailer, car size is 3" x 8", camper is 3-3/4 x 8-1/2", total length when connected is approx. 16-1/2".
