Large ...................... Great Pattern and Tightly Woven A rare late 19th to early 20th Century UNUSUAL 3rd PHASE CHIEF'S BLANKET VARIANT with wide banded stripes and a checkerboard diamond . This one is all Churro soft homespun hand carded wool homespun yarn. It measures 51" by 81". It is woven in natural carded browns, black and white wool with aniline dyed red homespun that has faded over the years to a nice rose color. The center is all carded brown yarn in varying shades and full of LAZY LINES throughout, as I have shown some examples of in the last two photographs. There are breaks here and there throughout the main body and around the outer edge. This museum quality weaving is definitely worthy of restoration.
