Description: The pictures are detailed and honest. The wood is in good shape for an instrument of this age. There are scuffs and dings on the instrument (refer to pictures) It looks like some of the glue on the binding had melted at some point leading to some drippage on the sides and some of the side straying a little bit from the top. It also looks like the tailpiece was moved slightly at one point to improve playability (pictured) With that being said, the construction is still solid. The action is on the higher side, but I still have no problem playing it and the sound is fantastic. This is a unique and rare piece of history that still has a lot of life in it.
