It is appealing, desirable & collectible. On April 1, 1898, only 8 years after the UMWA was established, the first 8-hour work day was negotiated by the United Mine Workers of America. We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made by us. The overall condition is accurately depicted in the photos. It measures .625" across.
