Description: This rare Union Pacific Desert Water Bag Canvas Flax Radiator bag from the 1930s is a unique addition to any Union Pacific railroad memorabilia collection. The bag is made of flax canvas material. I sell at auto swap meets and have had radiator bags from different companies and generic. They carried water in front of the radiator to cool a bit but also for emergency drinking water or to add to the radiator. UP has to be fairly rare. Most were made by the Desert Water Bag company but I have had General stores and other advertising ones. This is a piece I have never seen. Came from a railroad and mine collection in Price, Utah.
