Description: This is an incredible find.. a piece by Linda Krob signed and dated.. Beautiful Piece!!! Originally shown and purchased from Rive Gauche Gallery. LINDA KROB was born in New York cily in 1935. She graduated from Dirien high school in 1953 ind studied Art at Bennington College, painting with Paul Feeley and doing graphics with Dan Shapiro. She did a 50-foot mural in the music room entitled. "Medieval Musician; and Fools." In 1955-5*. she studied at the Art Students league in New York city, painting with Edward I.an- ning and doing graphics with Harry Slernberp. Miss Krob attended New School ol Social Research and did illustration with Frilz Lichenberg and woodcuts with Antonio Frasconi. She is a member of Ihe Mural Painters society. She went to the Fomainebleau School of Music and Art in Fontainebltau France, and upon her return received a one year scholarship at the Art Students league. Miss Krob has exhibited at the New York Architectural league: Mural Painters society; Roway- tcm Art center; Print club in Philadelphia. Pa.; Silvermine guild; Vincelleue sludio; Darien library; Darien Outdoor show. Awards In Darien include 1959. First Prite Lithograph; 1361. First Priie Sculpture; 19S3. F i r s t Prize Woodcut; 1983. Second Pri;e Sculpture. This is Miss Krob's second exhibition with The Rive Gauche gallery.
