Description: This is a very rare piece of art deco craft. Made in Tokyo in the 1950s by Terada Ware, under the Lucky Gold label. Known for making unique decanters, the this was a departure from their highly collectible automobile art. This sea going salt and pepper shaker caddy is has a chrome top with a nautical steering wheel. There are slots for the vintage glass and chrome shakers and a slot for toothpicks. The chrome on the top of the boat has a few nicks, which is to be expected for a 70 year old piece of working art. This wonderful piece of kitchen art is truly unique.
