This coin was only available in-person at The Stanley Hotel.They were NOT offered for sale at the Hotel gift shop, online, etc.. Stock photo - we have a couple available. The coin was given as admission for parking (one per vehicle).It’s redeemable for $5 towards any purchase at The Hotel, so most visitors are using / redeeming it in the gift shop, restaurant, etc. We tried to purchase some at thegift shop and were told they were not for sale - only given out for parking. Features:Coin has an image of the two little girls, identical twin sisters Alexa Grady and Alexie Grady, spirits of two children murdered by their father Delbert Grady (the previous caretaker), whenhe was possessed by ghosts in the Hotel. Several ghost stories surround the state rooms on the hotel's main floor as well as many of the guest rooms. The fourth floor in particular is supposed to be especially active along with the hotel's concert hall. The Stanley is famous in popular culture for having inspired horror novelist Stephen King to write The Shining. In 1974, horror writer King spent one night in Room 217 at the Stanley Hotel with his wife Tabitha while on a vacation to the Boulder area. That night, a dream struck King with inspiration for his next book. "I dreamed of my three-year-old son running through the corridors, looking back over his shoulder, eyes wide, screaming. He was being chased by a fire-hose. I woke up with a tremendous jerk, sweating all over, within an inch of falling out of bed.
