Description: RARE SIGNED ALESSANDRO MORETTI WHALE FOR PILGRIM GLASS. Shipped WELL WRAPPED with USPS Priority Mail. Rare signed Alessandro Moretti controlled bubbles art glass whale for Pilgrim Glass. Moretti was born in Italy in 1922. He started blowing glass at 14. He worked for some of the best in Murano before moving to the United States. He blew glass animals for Pilgrim until his death in 1998. This whale is from the 1950's. There are no nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs. It measures approximately 8 1/4" in length from and approximately 4 1/4" in height. It is a very heavy piece of art glass. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item.
