The plates are in the Imari palate, and are hand-painted in the style of Royal Crown Derby. This pattern does not show up on the internet, despite extensive research. They measure 9" in diameter, and are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, crazing, utensil marks, or gilt loss. They appear to be unused. Each plate is incised with a date/pattern mark on the underside, and further marked with a stamp describing the pattern which was apparently from the 18th century.
