Description: Here is a very hard to find, c.1910, (U.S. patent#980013) Scarce antique Schoenhut, Jolly Jigger double dancing, "Dutch Girl & Dutch Boy", paddle toy (the second figure of the "Jolly Jigger" set) in original cotton outfits with hats and wooden "Dutch" shoes, over-size, wooden platform, overall height - 13 1/2". Dressed in their complete original, soft cotton, outfits including white cotton shirts, tie, trousers, belt with round metal buckle and hat, dress, slip and apron. They have blue eyes and smiling expressions showing their teeth as well as nicely molded and painted, light brown hair. They resemble the Schoenhut Roly Poly dolls #101, 203 & 402 (and the "Milkmaid & Mary and her Lamb" figures) and have the fully signed: wooden platform/stand* measuring: 19" x 11" across with curved metal arm attached to each doll for display and is a real treasure. * They have no cracks, chips or repairs, no hairlines and no repainting.
