Description: *RARE* SAVINELLI CAPRI ROOT BRIAR *Corallo di Mare*N. MINT* (1970s) Pipe + BOX The pipes of Savinelli's Capri Root Briar series (made in the 1970s) have been made with the same process as the Punto Oro Corallo di Mare series (see in the last photos information on Capri and Corallo di Mare series in extracts from Savinelli prospectuses). Here we have a bent pot with big size bowl (similar in size to Dunhill's Group 6) and full mouthpiece. The pipe is in near mint condition on all of its parts. If some small fault needs to be mentioned it would be the fading of the Savinelli shield stamp on the stem (the stem had a lot of oxidation -see it in the last photo before it was cleaned-, we thought that we could salvage the stamp using 800 grit sandpaper but it didn't happen, the stamp is still visible but only under strong light). Bonus a Savinelli box (from a later era).
