This Rolex is Solid 18K Yellow gold and has a Rolex Swiss made 18 Jewels automatic movement. This is the Very rare Big Bubbleback reference 6105 with the "SUPER OYSTER" winding crown. It has a beautiful Silver dial. It has a brand new Brown Suede leather band. Serial Number 83x,xxx circa 1952 (serial numbers are very slight) . This is a RARE Find! The watch case measures approx. 35mm not including the crown. This ROLEX is a real beauty and is for someone who want something very special! This Model is Equipped with the Very RARE "SUPER OYSTER" winding crown, a mechanism developed by ROLEX in an attempt to create a non screw down waterproof crown. Original Rolex movement has just had a complete overhaul service and refinish. The system itself proved to be a success, however, in time the rubber gasket was unable to withstand wear and tear. This crown type was phased out ONLY after 3 years of production and make this Rolex 6105 a Rare piece! Comes with Vintage Rolex Coffin Box.
