Description: A good example of a “Rem-Blick” vintage typewriter in wooden case made by Remington Rand (formerly Remington Typewriter Co) circa 1928. And in 1927-8, Remington started the production again of the Blickensderfer 5, re-named the "Rem-Blick". The Rem-Blick was only in production for around 9 months, from December 1927 to about September 1928 (perhaps less) and it was estimated that only around 6,000 or so machines were made, making surviving machines fairly rare. This typewriter with serial number KV80220 appears to be in good condition, but does need some attention and TLC to get it into good working order again with overall light rust and dust buildup in areas, outer canvas edge rolling, light hinge rust, minor decal losses, and overall wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Overall with case: 6 ⅝” H x 12 ½” W x 9 ¾” D.
