Description: Early English Queen Anne Sterling Silver - Large Basting Spoon by Lawrence Jones of London circa 1708 - weighs 3.90 troy ozs. A wonderful dog nose handle with a rattail bowl portion. Marked: hallmarked with the makers mark for Lawrence Jones, Britannia, Lion's head erased and date letter "n" (see photo, mark does have wear) Measurements: 13 3/8" in length and the bowl portion measures 2 5/16" in width.
