Description: Handsome primitive wood plow plane with wood threaded tightening arms. Nice darker wood finish. Looks handmade. The piece works and is very solid. The threads on arms are worn closest to the guide for about 1 1/2" out. Other normal wear for age is seen. This plane comes with no blades. Blade sets can be easily purchased on eBay. This plow(plough) plane was part of a primitive/antique tool collection and was displayed for over fifty years and not used as a plane. Dimensions: 9" w x 11 1/2 " d including screw arms. Opens to at least 4." Opening for blades is 5/8." Weighs almost 3 lbs. Great for collectors or woodworking tools display. Sold "as is" so look at photos carefully.
