Description: Up for sale is a poster showing the "Charlie Brown Around Town" statues that were exhibited throughout St. Paul, Minnesota, during “Peanuts on Parade” in 2001. This was the followup to the Snoopy statues that were displayed in 2000 and a precursor to statues of the PEANUTS characters displayed in 2002, 2003 & 2004. The 5 foot tall statues all showed Charlie Brown in the same smiling pose and each one was decorated differently. These statues were a tribute to St. Paul, Minnesota native son, Charles M. Schulz, the creative genius behind the PEANUTS comic strip. The framed poster is approximately 39 1/2” x 27 1/4” x 7/8". This poster was purchased by me and framed in 2001 when it was new and it has hung undisturbed since then. It is in wonderful condition and it is time for it to have a new home.
