Description: ** Rare Pair Of IKEA Wooden Tuscan Column Table Lamps ( Ex Working ~ Marked 53 ) ** For sale is a matching pair of vintage turned wooden 3-way IKEA table lamps with classical column styling (Note; the IKEA museum in Sweden has no record of these lamps in any of the catalogues). Lamps each measure 25-1/4 inches in height to the topsides of the original finials, the turned wooden bodies measuring 14-5/8 inches in height, the bases measuring 4-5/16 inches square, with the cords each measuring 6 feet, both lamps being in excellent working condition including the original cords, switches, and sockets (Note; one lamp has a small chip out of a corner on it’s top square capital, which would be covered by the shade “see 6th photo”). Both lamps are deeply stamped on the underneath sides “IKEA 53” (Note; I was unable to ascertain whether or not this “53” was a date or a model number, I would guess looking at the lamps that they date from the 1960s 70s, if it is the date, then the lamps are very early for IKEA).
