Description: Rare Original Civil War Era Confederate Ammo Crate 69 Cal. BuckShot Cartridges. Up for sale is a very rare Civil War Era Confederate wood Ammo create, that held 500rds of Musket Rifle Buck Shot Cartridges in 69 Caliber. This Create was made by Naval Laboratories, in Washington, and so marked on the front. It measures 13 inches long, and 8 1/2 inches tall, and 8 inches wide. The ammo create comes with the original key. Please refer to pics for condition, as it definitely shows age and wear. There is a piece of wood missing on the top, as seen in the photos, and someone has added a couple strips of wood on the inside.
