Later met and married Gerald L. Lubeck, also an artist whose works can be seen throughout the world. With a little prompting from her husband Nancy took up painting in her later life. Nancy specializes in primitive art painted in acrylics on wood. She is a member of the Southern Vermont Art Association, West River Artist, and the Pittsfield Art League. Each year she enters art shows in Vermont, Connecticut and New Jersey. Her work can be seen at Tilting at Windmills Gallery in Manchester Center, Vermont throughout the vear. One of Nancy's paintings was featured on the cover of Yankee Magazine in November 1984 and another of her paintings appeared on Yankee's cover for March 1985 and also on Yankee's Engagement Calendar for 1987. Several of her paintings were purchased by Laura Ashley Decorators for White Cliffs, a condominium and home development in Situate, Mass. Her artwork decorates some of the guest rooms of the historic Equinox Hotel in Manchester, Vermont and is also in the art collection of Nielsen & Bainbridge Co. Her works can also be seen at Ren-Wil Originals in Montreal, Canada and Fogel Fine Arts in Ontario, Canada. Fine Arts Gallery of Ardmore, PA, Marlin Art of New York, Apple Arts, Ltd. in New Jersey and many other fine art shops throughout the USA, Canada and Europe. Nancv's American Folk (Primitive style of art is very popular in most fine art decorator shops at this time. The artist's works are presently being published by Apple Arts, Ltd. of New Jersey and are being distributed nationally and internationally.
