Description: RARE MARANTZ SD 4000 CASSETTE DECK ~ WOOD PANELS! GREAT PHYSICAL SHAPE~ UNTESTED. Recently picked up this beauty! Unit would not play cassette so I normally check the belts as they are the first thing to go on these older Stereos. Belts were no go so I replaced those but unfortunately the cassette is still not working. Being sold as is, untested. It does come with the wood panels that seem to be very hard to find. The wood panels are in great shape aside from a few small nicks (plese see pictures). Comes with all original screws. It looks like the unit has never been opened aside from me replacing the belts. Everything looks solid, I didnt see any burned capacitors, missing screws, signs of rodents, ect..... I dont know how to check the electronics so everything else is untested. Probably an easy fix, probably the motor but I dont have time or the know how to propery diagnose. Will be carefully packaged. Serious buyers only please! It is sold as is, please look over pictures carefully... There seem to be a lot of scammers on ebay anymore.
