Bostock has inscribed the ball "To Ken/Lyman Bostock" in blue ink on a side panel. Lyman Bostock single-signed balls are exceedingly rare because of this tragic death in 1978 at the age of 27. (He was shot to death by the estranged husband of a woman who was a passenger with him in the car in which were riding.
