RARE large vintage 1940s, bathing suit advertising, boudoir STORE mannequin

If there's a place for it in your heart, there's a place for it in your home." - Mary Randolph Carter Thanks for visiting, Here is an amazing, 31 1/2" tall, circa 1940s vintage, mannequin figure designed for high end department store, fashion displays during the 1940s used to display fashionable lingerie or women's bathing suits. She needs arms as they have been discarded long ago. She is an outstanding example with beautiful features very reminiscent of this era with nicely molded features and special hairstyle. She has a very solid body construction with long gracefully shaped legs and those fifties style, heeled shoes. She wears her original, form fitting, painted light blue bathing suit and is modeling one of our antique doll corsets (which is NOT included). We will also have a nice selection of antique doll corsets that would look great displayed with her including the one shown, she is in generally good condition with no repainting. some normal stress lines commensurate with use and age (one break repaired at the hip as shown). She needs a little paint touch up on her forehead. What a fabulous addition to any collection or to highlight a collection of smaller mannequin figures. She will require extra packing, priority shipping and insurance for safe delivery and will make a stunning display in a boudoir, sewing or craft studio or museum.
