Description: Rare Large Old Paris-Jacob Petit Pair Of Urns. Made by the French manufacturer porcelain maker Jacob Petit(1830-1860). These pair of urns are all hand painted and very rare. They are museum quality urns and are approximately 193 years old. They seem to be in great condition with typical minor wear on the them and might have some paint loss or restorations due to its age. Honestly, that’s all I can see as I’m not a porcelain expert. They are both marked with the blue J.P. mark underneath and seem to have the original rusty but strong rods and butterfly screw which hold them together as the base is removable. They have spring blossoms on each sides with a beautiful dark olive green backside and on the other side it’s got a white backside. The flowers are beautifully painted!! I purchased them in one of my trips to France, the dealer kindly also included a picture of the past owner where at one time they had them in display. I I thought this picture was very cool and will also send with these two beautiful urns. I need to downsize but I love them. They are 16.5 inches tall by 9 inches wide from handle to handle. They are very heavy and large! Buyer pays shipping cost and insurance , they need to be very well packed. International bidders please inquire for shipping cost. Any additional questions please feel free to ask.
