Description: Rare Kutani Ware Goblet Style Sake Cup Set of 5 - Vintage Japan, Parrot & Peony This set of 5 Kutani Ware Sake Cups is a unique vintage find from Japan. The sake cups are an unusual mini-goblet style, and feature a beautiful design of a parrot and peony - each is handpainted with this same design. Excellent condition in original wooden box with 6 spaces. This does not necessarily mean that one is missing from the set as sometimes sake cup boxes have an extra space for spares, etc. Mom's note on the side does depict only five cups. This set was purchased in Japan sometime between 1960 and 1990.
