Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This rare antique Islamic ceramic Indo-Persian hexagonal tile is hand painted under a clear glaze. It features a Dervish in traditional garb, holding a helgot (a traditional Dervish axe), and Smoking a Hookah. It probably dates to the 19th Century. The original ceramist failed to glaze a small portion of the lower right side of the tile (see photo). Otherwise, it has no chips or cracks.
