Description: Beautiful 1920's Imperial Orange lead lustre art glass cased over white (opal lustre) with cobalt blue festoons pulled and loops- sometimes called drag loops on free hand- on iridescent orange cased on opal glass. This vase is Imperial shape #619 and color number #22 and measures 8 3/4" tall. This is a mirror glaze/lustre finish and is bright and reflective. The vase is lovely and in great condition with only mild appropriate shelf wear on bottom. This vase was made during the short time frame in the 1920's when Imperial worked with expert glass blowers and designers. These artisans created the best glass made by Imperial. The design is lovely orange mirror glaze with light to dark cobalt blue loops that graduate from small to large and back again, giving a wave appearance. Difficult and complicated design to accomplish on hot glass, this is a very pretty vase in excellent condition. Please see images and ask any questions. No chips or cracks. This is the larger of similar vases.
