Description: Hello, this auction is for a SUPER RARE 1980's Industrial Light & Magic Anamorphic 35mm Focus Flat Leader Film Reel. Never seen another one of these available on the market before. Speaking with a former ILM Employee who worked there from the late 70's until 1988 -- informed me, that a piece of this footage would be placed at the head of a projection reel to confirm the proper framing of what was being shown. Incredibly unique and potentially one of a kind piece here! REEL MEASURES 8.5 x 8.5". Industrial Light & Magic has produced special effects for such films as: the Star Wars saga, the Indiana Jones series, the Jurassic Park series, Harry Potter and many more! This is the last full ILM reel I have. The frames all appear to be the same throughout. Based on the logo on the reel, I would place this reel, time period wise -- at the tail end of the 1980's.
