Description: Heisey Crystolite was introduced in 1938 and was produced until the factory closed in 1957. The pattern was so popular it is credited with keeping the Heisey company in business during World War II. Crystolite (#1503), was an extensive table and serviceware pattern with many unusual items. Some of these unusual items have a shell-shaped motif. Offered here is one of the most magnificent items from the Crystolite line. It is a beautiful Crystolite shell-shaped 5-part relish plate/dish. It is a very large Heisey piece measuring about 13” from top to bottom, 12½” across, and about 1” high. It is not marked with the Heisey trademark but is referenced in many Heisey books and advertisements. It is in outstanding condition with no chips or nicks and only a few signs of light wear. This is a remarkable item to add to your Heisey collection or vintage home décor.
