Description: Hall Aladdin Teapot w/Infuser & Lid Floral Blue Bouquet w/Platinum 1950's-1960's A beautiful HALL China BLUE BOUQUET Blue, Pink, Yellow & Green on Ivory w/PLATINUM Trim, circa early 1950's-mid 1960's, from East Liverpool, Ohio DESCRIPTION: This pattern has the blue banner with the warm yellow cross hatching and pink, blue. HISTORY/MARKS: When the East Liverpool Potteries Company was dissolved in 1903, Robert Hall, one of the principals, formed Hall China Company. After his untimely death in 1904, his young son, Robert Taggert Hall took over and made it his mission to rediscover the long lost process from the Ming Dynasty of producing a non-lead based glazed china using a single fire process. He succeeded by 1911 creating the craze-proof finish for which Hall China became famous for over 100 years. Hall China remained in the extended Hall family until they were sold to Homer Laughlin China Company across the river in Newell, West Virginia, the manufacturer of Fiesta. Hall China is not in production today as their operating kilns have been moved to Newell and most of the original facility on Anna Avenue is being demolished. The stamp on the bottom of this is Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer’s Collector’s Encyclopedia of Hall China mark shown in gold on page 101. The Blue Bouquet pattern was made for Standard Coffee Company of New Orleans from early1950's-mid 1960's. The stamp on the bottom of this is Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer’s Collector’s Encyclopedia of Hall China mark #6 HSQK in gold that was used 1932-1970.
