Description: Lot of ELEVEN photos showing scenes of the crash of the U.S. Shenandoah and aftermath, including rows of victims' coffins. The Shenandoah was a Navy airship that was torn apart in a storm on September 3, 1925, crashing outside of Caldwell, Ohio, killing fourteen crew members. The photos offered here are vintage prints.. they are undated so I'm unsure of the exact age, but after examining the closely under magnification and taking into account the wear and soiling, I'm confident they are VINTAGE, not present day reprints. They are on medium weight semigloss paper with no imprints or watermarks of any kind. Most measure about 5.25" x 3.5". Please ask before purchasing if you have any questions. Thanks!
