Description: Rare glue jar with cute lobed glass pumpkin-shaped body and conforming sterling silver lobed cap with stem/tendril handle and glue brush attached. The glue jar measures 3 1/4 inches high from base to tip of handle, the glass jar diameter measures approximately 1 3/8" at the polished base and 2 1/8" at the widest. The cap weighs 0.46 troy ounces gross weight and is approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Marked on the inside brush shaft with Gorham's trademark and "Sterling 10" and the date symbol for 1889. There's a bit of scuffing on the base of the glass jar and a few super tiny chips around the opening, some tarnish on the cap, and a few splayed hairs on the brush, otherwise in good antique condition.
