Description: On the cold morning of December 14, 1984 a USAF A-7D flying out of Nellis AFB near Las Vegas, Nevada crashed around a hundred miles North from that city near Lathrop Wells, Nevada. The debris was spread over a 200-yard area and this Tail-Hook Arm and Shoe remained at the site. The twisted and partially severed Tail Hook Arm vividly displays the force of impact, but the Shoe remained intact. This is a unique crash artifact and few collectors have anything like it.
