Rare Female Figure "Demeter" Head Bust Limoges Trinket Box Pient Main France

Description: This item truly is special & rare to find, so rare I've had a hard time finding comparable Limoges boxes & would be a great addition to any collection. This particular item features the head bust of Female Figure, I'm not 100% sure but I believe this Limoges box portrays the goddess of harvest & wine Demeter. She has a beautiful 360 paint job, wearing very regal collared garment & with several grape clusters/leaves adorning her head interweaving with her hair. This miniature measures approximately ( 3.5 in 2.0 in 1.0 in). Other key features worth mentioning about this item are"fleur de lis" style Clasp, a strong supportive hinge, Artist insignia on the bottom of the box, & nice firm snap when closed. All of which are very desirable & sought after features when shopping for a Limoges box. Made in France, each Limoges Box is hand-painted (Peint main) & is a true testament to the countrys rich history of fine porcelain craftsmanship. Highly collectible Limoges boxes are very good at retaining & even GAINING value. Either as a Personal Keepsake, Family Heirloom, Collectors Item, or as a gift for someone special .
