Alittle about the Artist: Henry "Hank" Montanez, 84, of Ridgefield Park, NJ passed May 11, 2017. Born in NYC he was raised and schooled in Bronx, NY, graduating Industrial Arts High School, NYC. Hank served in the US Marine Corps Korean War period. As a member of their Varsity Boxing Team he suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in his Honorable Discharge. Having served three years with distinction his pride in being a Marine and the patriotism he felt for his country never left him. Following service he attended School of Visual Arts, NYC and enjoyed a distinguished career as a self employed "Pen & Ink Illustrator, Cartoonist, Commercial Artist" retiring in 1998.
