Description: Large piece from Cliff Stewart! This features a girl or woman affixed to a driftwood log, this gives off beach vibes in both appearance and colors. It's a large piece overall, measuring 10" long for the wood, and over 7" high from base to the top of the girl's head. Look at those curls! This piece is signed on the underside, but she is also glued or affixed to the driftwood so the signature is obscured. I can just make out parts of his name on the base. Very unusual art piece for this artist! Wonderful collector's piece.Cliff Stewart was a significant and influential figure in the mid-century California studio pottery movement. His pottery is in the permanent collection of the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Pomona, California and sponsored by Paul Getty Museum. This is a very unique piece of art pottery! A great collectible for those interested in ceramics by mid-century California artists. I ship quickly, and pack carefully!
