Description: Found in a civil war camp with metal detector near Richmond VA. Dug with owner's permission. Found years (mid 1980s) ago when I lived and worked in that area. Size is approx. 3.25" wide x 3.5" tall. as-found condition with some dirt/ corrosion, has broken wing and looks like a pewter like metal? has a rusted pin to attach it to whatever?
