Description: Fine Chinese Ming Chenghua Style Important Chinese Qing Qianlong MK Blue and White Underglazed Red Enamel Kylin Porcelain Vase Here is an outstanding Chinese blue and white globular porcelain vase. It has a truly one of the best underglazed iron red Kylins. The combination of blue white and underglazed iron red color is among the most difficult technique of ceramic making. Because of the huge difference of the firing temperatures of both colors, most underglazed iron red painting would be melted together and lose its strokes and shapes. Take a look at our close up pictures of the Kylins of this vase, every stroke is clear. It has some small green spot, evidence of true underglazed iron red color. The Kylins dance around the globular body and neck of this vase. The blue cloud around the dragon is painted with different style than other vase you have probably seen. Without any major strokes, the cloud is actually formed with many super fine lines. Underneath it has a 6 character seal mark. It's in good condition without any major imperfection, only normal wear and tear. It measures 54cm tall. This is truly a museum quality collectible. Any serious collector shouldn't miss this one.
