Description: RARE c.1910 Antique Denver, Laramie & Northwestern Railway LARGE Book/ Album This gorgeous book has so much character and artistry. The cover itself is stunning with embossed details and red accents. On the back cover sneakily embossed is the name of the printer of this book- The Smith Brooks Co. Engravers & Printers- Denver, CO. Inside there are a total of 14 pages that have the pasted-in sheets with black and white images and descriptions of land and progress of the DL&NW railroad. There are 8 pages that have lost these sheets and are now empty. I was only able to come across 1 other of these books in my research where the book was complete and had a business card with a date of 1910. The only date printed in the actual book is on the map that references 1907 data. Features: Tie bound.Thick textured moiré patterned paper inside with lovely green and red filigree borders to frame an image or page. Fold-out map: Showing some of the industries and resources of the territory reached by the Denver, Laramie & Northwestern Railway (dimensions: 20" x 14") Measurements:28.5" x 11.25 when open 14" x 11.25" when closed Truly a wonderful piece of history and artistry to add to your collection! Condition- 'As Found' antique condition- overall, it is in decent shape considering the age and how large it is! There are areas of water damage and small tears.
