Description: This Kitchen Maid cake cover or carrier is in nice 1970's vintage condition It is marked on the side: 1979 Pentron Industries Inc. It's embossed on the bottom of the plate: Ballonoff, Cleveland Ohio, Made in USA. There are a few scratches on the cover from normal use and storage. There are a couple scratches on the plate and a bigger spot on the rim. The underside of the plate is gold color and there are spots of corrosion and wear on the bottom foot/rim. We don't see any dents and it is still in great, usable condition. The inside of the dome is in GREAT condition! Outside diameter of plate: 11 3/4 inchesCake area diameter to sit inside dome: 9 1/2 inches Cover is 6 in. high. There are a lot of all green and red ones but have only seen a couple of the blue with green top cake keepers. Overall height including the knob is approximately 7 1/2 in.
